I read this for, I suspect, the same reason that many other people did: I love the authors' blog and wanted to see what they would do with a YA book.

It's a fun read. That is, it's rather ridiculous at times, but it doesn't take itself too seriously. I do wish there hadn't been so many brand names and pop culture references -- they date the book, and they also feel rather lazy. That said, it's not really the kind of book to be evaluated on its literary merits -- it's just, well, a silly, fun read.
