isabelflynn 's review for:
To Paradise
by Hanya Yanagihara
I didn’t know what to expect after reading A Little Life (aka one of the best books i’ve ever read). Took a little while to get into the first book, but once I was used to Hanya’s beautifully intricate writing, I could follow.
Books 1 and 2 were good, if a little slow and complex.
Book 3 was phenomenal; partly testament to the scarily plausible dystopian New York, but also to the foundations of the family tree and relations established in the previous two centuries. 5
