One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston

5.0

I'M GENUINELY CRYING IN A COFFEE SHOP (mask'd up and as safe as possible!) BECAUSE OF THIS BOOK. EVERYONE FRICKING PRE-ORDER IT NOW. Y'ALL ARE NOT PREPARED.

I felt genuinely seen and healed by this incredible gem of a book. It's more than just a wlw romance, it's a meditation on community and home and family and what it means to love. Reading it while I missed Brooklyn immensely probably... wasn't a smart move, because its depiction of BK and NYC in general is so real that it just made me miss everything MORE.

RWRB was an incredible debut by McQuiston, and it as a burst of hope that we all needed during a really horrible time to be a live. OLS is something even more than that, and I can't wait for everyone to read it.
