Heartstopper Volume 2 by Alice Oseman

4.5

This is one of those rare times in which a second volume surpasses the quality of the first one. The careful way Nick’s journey to self-discovery is depicted fills my heart! If you’re aiming for representation, I expect you to do so without perpetuating unnecessary stereotypes. They never contribute to society or anyone who’s a part of it.

At this point, I’m sure Alice Oseman’s capacity to handle sensitive subjects in the most beautiful way will continue to shine. It is, without a doubt, winning me over.

Besides, I was so happy to know this volume was faithfully represented in the television series. I’m sure it will play a major part in many people’s lives.
