The cut to black in this book is so upsetting.  It also felt like it took a really long time.  Almost every single thing that happens you hear about from both Dan and Evie’s POV which is sometimes endearing and sometimes just feels like it takes a long time.  I liked evie a lot.  She was very realistic as a female lead.  Dan was not great.  Like he messes up a lot but it’s not charming or cute.  Like he just genuinely messes up and then there’s not enough groveling when he tries to fix it.  

Also SHE PROPOSES AT THE END which is not the feminist stance that it seems to be.  

The ending is VERY corny.  Cute little moments but nothing to fawn over.
