The best thing about All Your Reasons is that is was a really short, quick read. It doesn't really have much substance to it so it was just blah.

Presley is this girl who apparently falls in love with everyone instantly and doesn't make the right choices with men. She is married to a rock star, but has been separated for six months. She just wanted him to put her first instead of his career, which he wouldn't do. Now he wants to come back, after his tour, and be husband and wife again. Apparently she had only known the guy for 4 weeks before they got married and none of her friends liked him even then. She also reveals at one point that she almost married a guy twenty years older than her when she was eighteen. So she seems to just jump right into things without thinking much. The problem with the story was even though I know all this about her I don't really feel like I know Presley. She meets and falls for Jett instantly, but I have no idea why. Because he is good looking? Maybe? I don't know.

Jett sleeps with lots of women, but has never found one he would want to settle down with. Until he sees Presley at a club one night and just like that he knows she is different and he wants her. Again not sure why. He mentions at one point that he can talk to her unlike most women he meets. So I guess that is as good a reason to be instantly in love.

Now everything in this story happens instantly. They meet and instantly both just want to get out of there and have sex. The sex scenes? Well they are basically just take your clothes off as fast as possible and get to it. Not a lot of working up to it or anything. It was just...it made even the sex scenes not that good as I just couldn't even connect with them being that attracted to each other. They were all over before they started. I didn't buy it so it didn't work. Instead of feeling like they just can't wait, they have to be together, it was awkward. It could have used a bit of development so you could actually get to know the characters some or at least let you feel the attraction between the two. It just wasn't there for me. There is some slight drama with Presley's husband, but not much. It was all just too quick. There is a second book with the rest of their story, but I don't think I will read it. I just found this one to be kind of dull so I don't need to read more.
