To start off with, this is not a Christian book, which is the genre I read 99% of the time. But it’s regarding a topic that is very culturally relevant, and I thought it would be interesting to get the perspective of a secular/liberal author who does not generally support “transitioning” young people into the opposite gender (something that as a Christian myself, and basing my worldview upon the truth of the Bible, I view as impossible to do anyway).

This isn’t going to be a long review. As a Christian, the things that were described in this book and the fact that there is an epidemic of people wishing they can be the opposite gender speaks to me of massive spiritual warfare, and God turning people over to their sinful desires and allowing them to be deceived by the devil into joining the cult of transgenderism (as the author, as well as several de-transitioned people who were interviewed for the book also describe it).

I genuinely pray for these people that they would be released from their deception, and that they would turn to their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and be saved.

These poor souls are trying to fill a void in their life that can only be filled by Jesus. But the god of this world (Satan) has blinded their eyes, and is deceiving them with lies that they will find fulfillment within this group of people. But Satan is the father of lies, and wants only to kill, steal and destroy, and that is precisely what he is doing to these peoples lives.

To those who hate the truth, my comments will feel like hate. But they are not. On the contrary, if I hated them, I would say nothing at all and let them continue on their path of destruction without a word. But as it is, because I love all people and want to see them saved from destruction, I will open myself up to criticism in the hope that potentially even one soul might be reached.

God bless
