For starters, the representation was great. But unfortunately, this is one of those books were even though there is diverse rep, the character descriptions couldn’t save this one. I wish this had two POV’s - Morgan and Rachel’s. I’m just so used to romantic books nowadays having two or more voices that this stilted my enjoyment, only hearing Morgan’s side of things. She wasn’t the most likeable and I feel like she didn’t learn from her mistakes that happened in the past. There wasn’t any really character development in spite of the happy ending. I feel like we didn’t even really get to know Rachel either. You know when the character “talks”  to the reader to explain things? Yeah, this book had a bad case of that happening. I know the second book is about Adam and Ben but I barely got to understand them in this book 🙁
