I went into this book blind and wow I couldn’t have predicted what I was getting myself into.
Not normally a fan of pandemic horror but this one was done on such a way it didn’t feel like reliving COVID. Each character’s story was so interesting with Erin being our first glimpse of the virus, to Savanah being the tie with the ‘gods’, to Marevah….being whatever the hell she was? The ‘chosen one’ I guess?
The end was pretty abrupt but the descriptions of the body horror, and the overall vibes of the book were amazing
