This story was so compellingly told that I started googling the actual history of the Sarajevo Haggadah while reading the book, just to get more insight on its creation and journey. Brooks tells the story well, interweaving the book’s history with Dr. Hanna Heath’s work on it and her personal life. She also did a great job tying up loose ends that I tried to keep track of while reading. My only complaint is that the story pace really dragged at times.
