I want to start this review by saying I am not a huge fan of romance. For me, most of the time the romance just happens too quickly or the couple get super mushy about it.
Let's start off with what I liked. I did like the plus-size representation. The peek into fandom, specifically writing fanfic, was very interesting especially since we had an actor writing fanfic for his own show.
Now to what I didn't like....which was a lot. I want to say out right that I am not plus-size, so I can't necessarily speak on that representation. However, it seemed to be our MC's only character trait. That was all she focused on. She was a writer and a geologist but those were shoved to the side once she started dating the love interest. Also, she was very quick to assume people judged her based on her size alone. She would interpreted conversations in the negative when it came to her weight. Now, this was because of her trauma growing up but it seems a bit excessive to me.
Let's talk about the love interest for a second. We have our Jaime Lannister (we all know who this love interest is based off of) who plays a dumb actor to the cameras. We have a guy who hates the direction the show has gone in so he writes fanfiction to fix it. This guy was almost too sensitive for my tastes. It felt like he was always walking on egg shells when around the main love interest.
Let's look at their romance. Right away our two love interests felt a lust for each other but I never got the romantic appeal. Because they knew each other beforehand (or at least Marcus knew who April was) there wasn't a lot of room for "get to know you" questions. I wanted this get to know you period to be longer, to actually see why they like each other besides their bodies.
I will admit that 70 percent of the way through I skimmed to the end. I do think if you are a fan of romance, this will be the book for you. It hits all the points romance books and films hit, even with a climatic kiss at the end.

Also at the end he basically redoes his characters story in a new movie with the same actors like come on dude.Let's look at their romance.
