This book absolutely lived up to the promise of being cozy. Every page was like sitting in a warm blanket drinking hot tea. Never scary, barely tense, it was just what I needed in these crazy days.
Moderate: Death of parent
Minor: Grief, Fire/Fire injury, War
This book is essentially cozy, but the world the story exists in is far from idyllic. I think it's still redeeming enough to recommend even if you are struggling with anything in the content warnings. She works through grief and fear and comes out stronger.
