First of all, the synopsis of this book immediately has me hooked. FBI agent and a serial killer start seeing each other romantically? Sounds like a hot mess waiting to happen and I’m here for it!
In this first book we start to get to know Lana and Logan, and boy do they have some chemistry! I really love how patient Logan is with Lana, but also am wondering how their relationship will play out once he finds out her secrets. Speaking of which - the small glimpses we see of Lana’s past really keep readers on their toes. I just want to know everything that happened! You go from saying “wtf who does this to a person?” To “damn Lana you are a badass survivor who is serving up some much needed justice”. Never thought I’d be rooting for the serial killer, but here I am! I ate this first novella up in this series, and can’t wait to read the rest!
