Another winner by Stradel!!! He does have a formula to his books, but it is a formula for success! I liked this one a little less than Kitchens of the Midwest and a little more than Lager Queen. It was a cute story that had me in my feels quite a few times. I have lots of memories of going to supper clubs at my cabin and the fact that this book was set in Minnesota made it all the better. My *only* complaint is that I wish the family lore did not die with each generation - I would have liked if everything was out in the open regarding each generation’s intentions and secrets and lots of these things go uncovered. I would definitely recommend this author, you cannot go wrong with any of his books!
