I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki by Baek Se-hee

I inhaled this book because it was so easy to read, really accessible, but I also found it so interesting to "look" at therapy sessions from the outside.
This book hopefully provides some insight into talk therapy and takes away some fear and even prejudices people have when it comes to therapy.
What I especially appreciated were the little essays at the end of the book that provided some more insight into the author's personal life, family relationships and personal thoughts, even more so than in the therapy sessions.
There were some relatable parts and some things that I really couldn't relate to, but gave me insight into other people's problems and struggles, that is exactly what I like about personal stories of Depression. The feeling of not being alone, but to also realise that everyone has a different set of struggles that I can learn from to treat people with more respect in the future.

All in all, I really recommend "I want to die but I want to eat Tteokbokki" not only for it's marvelous title.
