Sane New World: Taming the Mind by Ruby Wax

I wish I had read this 10 years ago, I would have liked having Ruby's (metaphorical) hand to hold while I took my first steps into adulthood and into discovering mindfulness and meditation. Still, better late than never. I appreciate the way Ruby's wacky brain works, her humour, how she's broken everything down to ease the reader in to it, her honesty, and that she's cited plenty of studies for those of us who just can't quite believe anything that doesn't come backed up by empirical evidence. GO RUBY.
