Hot Doggin' by Raquel Riley

“Just so you know, I would have done it.”
….
After reading the Scar and Strips trilogy my first thought was every single character needs their own damn book and here we are with Riley’s new series Bitches With Stiches <3. It’s like the prayers have been answered.
We start off with Stiles and Mac with a best friends to lovers trope. A trope that for me is always has to be so well done to work and Riley did just that. I looked everywhere but it’s always been you.
This story apart from being funny and so damn sweet continues with why the other series is so dear to my heart and why this one will too. The found family, the “leave no bitch behind” <3.
Big love.
….
“Ride or die.” // “We’re perfectly in sync in the most imperfect ways. But I wouldn’t change a thing.” // “I draw the line at wearing your underwear, Mac. Nobody is that good of friends.” // “You’ve got me. You don’t have time to be lonely.“ // “Not like this.” // “Just so you know, I would have done it.” // “Is this what you wanted?” // “I’ll just sit down there with you and hold your hand until it passes, until you can find your way back to me again.” // “As the group continues knitting, swapping war stories that have nothing to do with guns and bloodshed and everything to do with emotional scars, I realize that we’re not just warriors—we’re healers, knitting together the loose ends of our lives.” // “I’m not me without him.” …

*I reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.
