I've read the other books in this series and I loved all of them. This one was my least favorite. Here's why:

- The book jumps back and forth between the night of the one night stand at the start of the story and the present time and even though the chapters are well labeled as flashback or present time, the story gets all broken up and the flow of reading is completely choppy.

- There are pages and pages of this book dedicated to the male lead and his group of best friends. These chapters do nothing to advance the story we are reading. I assume based on the sheer amount of time these characters get that they are probably from a different series by this same author. But, having not read any other series by this author these portions are just wasted filler. The friendships are nice and all, but it's just waaaaay too much.

- The chapters end often without resolution. As in the main characters are making out on the couch. The lead male says he could kiss her like this all night. The next chapter starts and it's 3 weeks later. Wait, what happened? Did they just kiss and then one of them went home? This happens repeatedly throughout the entire book.

- The lead male character is perfect. TOO damn perfect. Can the guy have even one flaw? I like sweet male leads, but when they are written with this level of perfection it just falls flat. Listen, I married a damn SAINT. My husband is a WAY better person than I am, but he still does stuff that makes me want to homicide his ass. Because he's a human.

Okay so, those issues out there, the book isn't bad. It's an okay/good read. But it definitely doesn't hold up to the other books in this series.
