To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf

5.0

It was never about the lighthouse, or was it? Woolf makes every sentence peal with such urgency, that questions about meaning become the red thread of the novel. A simple thing as the placement of an object in Lily's painting becomes equally important as the relationship between the Ramseys. Stunning, a true writer indeed.
One piece of advice: take the time. Read little bits a day and allow yourself to take in the details. If you do, so much beauty and essence will show through the lines.
