Again, Laurent Gaudé broke my heart and reconstructed it along 200 pages.
I loved it.

..Is it a retelling of the Genesis? The big bang as the unfortunate but the unescapable event; God as the man who chooses the destiny (and the hard-working life) of his descendants; Eve (Carmela) and her three Adams ; Abel and Cain as Elia and Donato. Well it is only an idea I had.

I could not recommend it enough.
