R.E. Bond's books are always an absolute must-read for me, and I couldn't have been happier when I received an ARC for this one! This book was so delightful that I simply couldn't put it down. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, eagerly awaiting to see what was going to happen next. I don't want to elaborate too much and give away too many spoilers because this was absolutely magnificent. Personally, I think you should get the full experience and go into this book blind. The characters in this were awesome, and don't even get me started on the spice, because hot damm! The end of the story genuinely broke my heart; why did he have to do that? Come on, everything was going great. I can't wait for the next installment of this duet; I need it immediately. I'm hoping that the 2024 day of release on Amazon is nothing more than a placeholder, because I cannot wait for that long to find out what's going to happen next.
