What I love the most about this series is how beautifully Reni K. Amayo writes. She has a way with imagery that transports you right into the center of things.
While I thought this would be a duology series, I was proven wrong with this ending, as there may be a third book, which I am looking forward to.
African mythos is an excellent concept to write about because there are so many stories or "magic" to use. This very action-packed story differed from the first book, but that is because of the need for world-building.
