Death on Gokumon Island

I don't know if it was the writing or translation but this was really quite bad. The dialogue was unnatural, varying wildly between stilted and uncomfortably causal. The plot was somehow at the same time ridiculously simple and impossible to follow (maybe because of the doyle-esque style of refusing to give the audience all the clues so that we're shocked when the genius discovers the plot) (maybe because things simply didn't make sense, how was a papier-mâché bell in the water for hours without dissolving?)
