How can I say that I love the Skyland series without sounding like a fangirl? I love this series, and the second installment, This Could Be Us, continues the feeling.  Filled with honesty, authenticity, and respect, this continuation keeps readers enthralled in the lives of women living in an Atlantan suburb.

This time the focus is on Soledad Charles, and how she navigates her life after a life-changing event involving her husband. She meets someone willing to give her space and time to figure herself out after said changes.

I appreciate the respect that the characters give each other. It's realistic and not cliched in any way (Yeah, there's a tinge of insta-love but it doesn't permeate the page like other romances). Also, I adore the approach to Autism and how Adam and Aaron are treated as full-fledged people, serving as good representation.

There's heart in this installment as there was with the first story, Before I Let Go, and I highly recommend a read.

Seriously, I cannot wait for the next book!
