I cannot get enough of Jack and Jill in this series, Jack especially. This book perfectly completes their stories, giving each of them the endings they deserved, though Jill definitely deserved better. Jack is just so interesting to read about, she's cold and analytical but still so smart and cares so deeply.
I really loved the relationship between Jack and Alexis, they both know each other's darkest parts and love them all the same.
I also really liked how the story expanded on the world of the Moors, showing us both the high priest of the Drowned Gods and the effects they have on people. Imt expanded on the politics of the world as well, and on the delicate balance between powers in a world where murder and blood is everything.
Reading this again after reading Where the Drowned Girls Go added so much to Cora and her journey, there was so much foreshadowing and I loved it.
No complaints, 10/10 will probably read again.
