I loved the first two books in this series and about 75% of the this third one kinda fell flat for me. I think I just had really high and different expectations, and it didn't go where I wanted it to go (which is obviously not the authors fault!). 
However, I was really satisfied with the ending and thought it was a great way to finish this series
