An Assembly Such as This by Pamela Aidan
2.0
I picked up this book to gain insight on Mr. Darcy, my favorite Jane Austen hero, and it ended up tainting my view of him.
I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about:
-Men who think like 14-year-old girls
-Men who obsess over women who are simultaneously "delicate and infuriating."
-Antagonistic women who are flawed in the most cliche way possible.
-Best friends who are bumbling buffoons with absolutely no appeal.
Note: I would also recommend this book to men who want to learn how to adopt a stalker mentality.
Everyone else:
If you are craving Austen, just re-read your favorite Jane Austen book. You'll thank yourself later.
