Our Hideous Progeny by C.E. McGill

Having been a huge fan of the original Frankenstein novel, I thought this was a well done, modern spin-off. I thought the author paid homage to Mary Shelley well. Absolutely had significant queer and feminist underpinnings to it and I appreciate the challenge to the time period’s status quo (most notably eugenics/racism and misogyny). I enjoyed the ending but it was low key predictable about half way through. Overall I really enjoyed this and it was a fun story to read.
