Thank you NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for this eARC!

This book is the cutest grumpy/sunshine romance I have read this year.  And it features dogs?! What's not to love!  This book kept me coming back for more and I look forward to reading more Farrah Rochon in the future.

Pardon My Frenchie is set in New Orleans. I recently took a trip there and was so excited to see references to neighborhoods and areas I had visited, it makes me want to go back for another trip!

I really enjoyed the background on Ashanti and Thad, the detail given to their professional goals as they also try to balance and find who they are outside their roles.  I also enjoyed how they use their businesses to support their local community.  Both characters have an amazing support system, and I really enjoyed seeing them lean on their family and friends even when they were reluctant/hesitant to ask for help.

The only drawback I had was there were some conflicts that were resolved in the last bit of the book fairly quickly.  To me, they served as character development, and didn't really add or take away from the plot, and some of it could have been woven in/resolved earlier in the book.  Even with that, this is a romance, we know it is going to be happily ever after and it certainly was!!
