While I was intrigued by the blurb (and let's be honest the beautiful cover) I have to say that the story did not grip me as much as I hoped for. It is still a very intersting story about one last prophecy that was made and kept secret until the Last Prophet would be found (who would see how to defeat the coming Age of Darkness) and there were some very surprising twists and turns I just felt that some of these twists and turns were just too random. I did not really have the feeling that some of these revelations were really prepared or foreshadowed in the story, they just happend.

Nevertheless, I am curious where the story of them all is going and what book 2 has in store for Jude, Anton, Beru and Ephyra.
