Bizarre fever dream of a book. An art gallery owner despairs that her gallery will go under, until she wishes upon her cat that she could come up with money. The ghost who haunts her bed approaches her with a deal: let him love her for a year, and in exchange he’ll give her paintings she can sell to save the gallery. What follows is a series of smoking hot BDSM scenes inspired by classic paintings. At the same time, I'm hoping the author has never done BDSM. What she thinks is intense (flogging, fisting, slave play) is not, and what she thinks is normal (no condoms, unplanned scenes, surprise multiple partners) is intense. I’m still thinking about this book a year later because WTF, mate.
