Hockey romances are my guilty pleasures - I can read a thousand of them and never get tired of them.

While the story was good and entertaining, I got an ick from Anastasia in the beginning that wouldn’t let me enjoy it as much as I wanted to. Some of her actions and her words didn’t sit right with me and while Nate was no saint either, she was definitely worse in my opinion.

My favourite thing about this book though was its side characters. From Sabrina to JJ, I loved them all. The group chat name, the boys making fun of Nathan all the time but still having each other’s backs. That was my personal highlight.

Nathan’s dad and Aaron were the worst and I really enjoyed whenever someone would tell them off. Overall though, it was a good college hockey romance.
