this was so boring😭 i read the first half, then skimmed through and got to the ending.. i really had high expectations because i’ve read (and loved) another book by this author, but this was a bit disappointing. the start was promising and i believed that when the action element would come in it was gonna be so much fun!! however, i found the first few challenges in the trials boring and i didn’t feel engaged in the story. i couldn’t feel any kind of connection to the characters as time went on. i really enjoyed the first few chapters, i thought the world-building was interesting. but after that the story hit a few bumps and it became harder to get through each chapter. not for me!
