I guess the true measure of this book will be discovered after I actually get a dog, but I feel so much more confident going into that relationship now and training my dog to a high degree. Plus, I like how this book emphasizes positive reinforcement rather than scolding; the tips in this book give you a similar mindset for training dogs like my education training prepared me for teaching children.
