Sasha Masha by Agnes Borinsky

4.0

I enjoyed this audio which was a relatively quick 3.5hrs read by the author about the trans awakening of Alex, a 17 yo boy from a wonderfully loving family who kind of accepted that he was a boy. He did boy things like get a girlfriend in Tracy, the smartest girl at school who he liked because she liked him but things always felt a little off between them.
Then he meets a gay boy named Andre who senses that he may be different and encourages him to recognize that maybe he isn't Alex but Sasha Masha and it's kind of lovely. Andre introduces him to other queer kids and elder queers in Coco and Green who I hope will be the community that support SM along his journey.
