Grumpy × grumpier with a small-town twist! I really liked the way the relationship developed over a radio show—it felt fresh and gave space for the characters to open up before they even met.
The FMC is a mechanic (yes!) with a daughter and a sweet, supportive family. The MMC is processing the loss of his mother and definitely wins the award for grumpier grump. I appreciated the emotional depth, though the steamy scenes leaned a bit too submissive for my personal taste.
Still, a heartfelt story with vulnerability, family, and some good banter.
