What a quirky and beautiful story this is. It was good from the beginning, then dragged just a little in the middle, but once it picked up it was one of the most interesting, engaging, and heart-grabbing stories I’ve seen in a while.
The narrator for this is incredible! She does an excellent job of taking you inside the character so you under what she’s feeling. You understand the anxiety and overwhelm and confusion and cheer her on as she figures out how to build her life to work for her rather than trying just not to be “broken”. I’m not sure I would have fully felt it all if I had read this as text.
The time travel aspect is also really well done and I really enjoyed the Greek mythology references but the thing that made this book great was getting to see Cassandra’s evolution.
