I still love Fredrik Backmann but this was a struggle to get through.
Maybe I was comparing it too much to ‘Anxious People’ but where that had wimsy, sadness and depth - I found this book simply too depressing at points. It was a hard read as it was just very sad.
Or maybe the book just came to me in the wrong moments where I didn’t want a sad book but still.
I think it’s probably better than a 2-star and I wouldn’t recommend not reading it, it just wasn’t for me.
