in the beginning I really didn't like the book because wade is just such an insufferable prick but the world really grew on me. I'm not a big fan of the writing style, it was so much info dumping and then hyping up for a challenge and then when the challenge finally came it was underwhelming. I did appreciate all the 80s trivia though, all the stuff I recognized I had great fun with.
