Night Song by Beverly Jenkins

4.0

This was really good. The prologue was rough, and I really struggled to get through the description of her grandfather's murder. Beverly Jenkins did a really good job of giving historical context to this story. I loved the chemistry between Cara and Chase. I love how into each other they were! I really enjoyed the plot, however it got a little slow at the end, which I didn't enjoy as much, which is why it was brought down a star. I also enjoy the slightly slower fluffier romances, so this got a bit exciting for me at the end.
