I picked this up as I thought it was a super cute premise. The idea that someone got so fed up with their many prospects that they drunkenly decide to marry the person who gets hit by the ring they throw into the crowd is hilarious.

I absolutely adored Aurora. She's gentle and very sweet but doesn't give the rose-colored glasses vibe. I like how smart she is to pick up on things that may not be obvious right away to others. I also really like that embroidery is her passion. I feel like a lot of books with historical settings tend to make the female lead characters not like hobbies like that because they must be different. I also really liked Sir Clavis as well. I enjoyed how his personality doesn't match his looks. I was expecting a cold personality but he is more like a cat lol. I also loved that there was a scene dedicated to getting to know each other. As readers, we get the opportunity to see them ask each other questions which I feel is rare in early volumes of manga. It was a real treat for me.

I liked the introduction to magic and how it was explained in little ways that didn't overwhelm me. I am very curious to see more of the magic in this world. It would definitely be interesting to see Sir Clavis' fortune-telling skills and even his ice magic. The plot also seems like a cute premise. With only volume one, I think the pacing was great. The art style is really pretty. I do enjoy it a lot. My only little complaint would be that all the "pretty" men look very similar, but otherwise definitely pleasing to look at.

Overall, I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. I am super excited to read the next volume. I borrowed this from the library but I may need to add it to my own manga collection. Definitely pick this up if you're looking for a cute and interesting read.
