Gümüs Cadi; Ölümsüz Nicholas Flamel'in Sirlari 6. Kitap by Michael Scott

3.0

Overall i like the serie. It was fast-paced and everything in the book almost occured less than 10 days. Except twins, everyone was either personalities from mythology or history. Since i love both of the subjects i enjoyed the book.

(SPOILER)

The world building was not bad but i feel like it was not clear. Something else was constantly being adding up. Like the hierarchy was Next Gen, Elder, and Great Elder but later on he added other species, such as Archons or Ancients. And time travel definetly didn't help. I still got so many questions about it.
There was no romance in the book and most of the time it was straight to the action which i loved. Even without the romance characters had their development.
I didn't like that all the immortals switched to good side. It seemed basic for me. Dialogues were also worse than the other books of the serie. At the some point it repeated itself. I don't need to be reminded in every page that "the change" turns them more of a monster.

Protagonists are not so likeable in my opinion. I've loved Virgina Dare more even tho she didn't showed up so much i was able to connect with her more. Many characters were one dimensional and some major characters didn't even have a proper ending.
That being said i've loved how Scott wrapped up everything to beginning. Josh's ending was great.

The series had so much potential in my eyes but the seems like author tried to impress us so much he missed the plot at some point. But it is still a nice YA fantastic book that you can read. Obviously there were a lot of research for the book so kudos to him for that.
