Dante's Demons
by K.L. Barstow
Dante’s demons.
This book is a multi perspective read allowing you to experience both from main male and main female characters. An immediate attraction romance that takes place in a motorcycle club (not gang). This book calls out the attraction and sexual tension right away between the MMC and FMC. This is not a slow burn romance. Dante is your hot, passive, dominate, and protective male. While Tally is a strong, independent, take no crap female. There are touches of dom/sub relationship mentioned with some scenes of impact, restraint, punishment, and anal play. The sexual interactions are detailed and leave you just as excited as the FMC. This book does have extreme profanity.
I did notice some issues with flow where there was no break other than a new paragraph to signal a change of scene or time. This would take me out of the story and I would have to reread the section to figure out what happened. This did change throughout the book and the author starts to give us an extra space between those paragraphs. I also noticed the characters repeating certain conversations that as a reader I had thought were settled. I felt the author could have skipped those and put in a different conversation that added to the story. I also noted a part where the FMC has clothing on and then poof they are gone, as well as the few times the book made sure to mention a condom but didn’t always mention one. This led to a bit of confusion, why mention it once if you’re not going to make it a staple of their sexual interactions?
All and all I am excited to read the rest of this series! I rate this a 4 out 5 stars
Good ending cliff hanger +1
Mystery was easy to follow and not too predictable +1
Hot men and a strong female lead +1
I immediately wanted to pick up the next book to see what happens next +1
Flow and conversation repeats -1
