I saw all of the 4 & 5 stars and thought I would love it because it seemed great and there was diverse female representation but the book was simply okay. I think the main thing for me was his slow it is. Yes, gale was funny and they had a lot of good moments and we SAW literally every single one. I was reading this book for an hour and I looked up and I was still on 66%… While I hate that it was so slow I think it also allowed us to see how far odette had come and how much she overcame .
