Oh my goodness. This was such an epic conclusion to the first instalment of The Mortal Fates! Rooke has fast become one of my favourite female characters ever, she’s just incredibly written and I absolutely adore her. Soren….. my god I wanted to strangle him!!! But this is also why I love J Brees writing so much, these enemies are not even close to lovers yet, but I feel like this series is going to be so worth it.
