I'm gonna be honest. Both main characters annoyed me so much. Thea should've been honest with Logan with why she didn't want to move to New York. Whenever that subject was talked about, she kept saying no and wouldn't answer him when he asked her why. Logan was too focused on solving the problems to even really listen to her. I know he had the best intentions, but sometimes you gotta think about how you handle things. I feel like they were too immature about a lot of things. There was too much push and pull. Whenever I think they finally took a step forward, they went back 10 steps. It happened too many times.

Also, I didn't like how they immediately acted upon their feelings for one another. Look, I love to read insta-love stories, but I feel like it didn't suit this story. Idk how to explain it, but it was just a weirdly written, I guess.

I do love the way Logan immediately fell in love with his daughter and really tried his best to get to know her. I was so glad that he didn't try to change his daughter and just embraced her wild nature. She was such a sweetheart. I was also very happy that Thea didn't want to keep Charlie away from Logan.

I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't like this book because I had already read Juniper Hill, and i loved it. So I had some kind of hope that her other book would also be fun to read but not this one. I do want to read the rest of the series of Juniper Hill.
