I really liked the book. The whole mystery surrounding Owen's disappearance was great. I also loved how the relationship between Bailey and Hannah developed. The last sentence of the book really got to me.
The only thing that was a let down was the criminal backstory. It was just too cliche for me and just not that original. But I still like how it all played out. The negotiation that Hannah did for herself and of course mostly Bailey was great. You could really feel Hannah growing into her role as a mother-figure to Bailey.
All in all a very nice and gripping read. I'd recommend it to my friends :-)
