After loving Homerun Proposal last year, I was so excited to get this ARC!
It was great to revisit Orleans U and the whole crew, I love these baseball boys and the friendship between Viv and Halle is one of my favourites🥺 I loved getting to know Vivienne better and seeing behind her prickly facade to all the challenges she was facing. Her struggles with her family life and supporting her mother who wasn’t yet ready to accept help were so heart wrenching to read. There was a lot of emotion in this one, and it allowed for a well developed romance that wholly convinced me of the couple’s longevity. Reese was honestly too perfect for words and extremely intuitive for a college man, but I expect no less from Maren she writes the perfect book boyfriends.
I hope we’re getting Grant’s book next I love the reformed playboy trope! I also just have to praise how much I adore her covers on this series, and I’ll definitely be picking up a physical copy soon💜
