A captivating read that blends truth with fiction in a mesmerising entrancing way. I read this so quickly it surprised me. I find the scientists intriguing and the embellishments on the truth of their lives makes them into strange mythical beasts. I almost wish they were true? I was so lost in the stories I didn't even pause to think about their veracity until I discussed it with a friend and realised there was no way the author could have known some of what was written. I completely forgot any information I knew about this book before I started reading it.
