This book was purely OK. It wasn't a bad read but isn't something I would put on my recommendations list. I wanted to love this book, especially as I enjoyed the style of writing. However, everything about it was incredibly flat.
The beginning hundred pages felt like trudging through thick snow - and the overall journey wasn't very rewarding. There was very little focus on the characters and the plot itself was rather bland, matter of fact, and incredibly predictable.
